RETINOL

What it is:

An effective conditioning exfoliant offering Retinol, Alpha Hydroxy-Lactic Acid and Sea Algae. This traditional Vitamin A and AHA Serum is well suited to those looking for a deep exfoliation. Nourishing yet illuminating, this serum delivers outstanding hydrating benefits to skin that can become devitalized over time.

Skin Type: MATURE, ALL SKIN TYPES EXCEPT EXTREMELY SENSITIVE

Highlighted Ingredients:

• Lactic Acid - An alpha hydroxy acid with a larger molecular size than Glycolic Acid. Increases skin’s hydration, pliability and flexibility, excellent for more sensitive skin, dark or hyperpigmented skin.
• Tego Stemlastin (Algae Extract) - Naturally derived from Cyanidium Caldarium Algae which is rich in extremolytes-like mineral nutrients, amino acids and polyphenols and GABA (gamma amino butryric acid). Stimulates epidermal stem cells and dermal fibroblasts. Significantly supports the maintenance of epidermal stem cell activity encouraging skin rejuvenation. 

Suggested Use:

Apply in the evening two to three times per week following cleansing. It is recommended to be used at night only, after a thorough cleansing. Client may experience stinging, redness, dryness, and flaking. Use under direction of skincare professional. Sensitivity to AHA’s or Retinols should be determined prior to using this product.

USE ONLY AS DIRECTED:

Avoid contact with the eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. It is recommended that prior to exposure to the sun, users cover areas where AHA’s have been applied with sunscreen. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.

SUNBURN ALERT:

This product contains an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. Daily use of sunscreen recommended with any glycolic product. Use caution when combining with other exfoliating products as this may increase sensitivity. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Slight stinging may occur upon application. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your skin care specialist.

Increase moisture levels while encouraging exfoliation with this Retinol Crème that facilitates advanced skin renewal. Well suited to mature or prematurely devitalized skin, this Crème contains Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 which combats visible signs of aging by diminishing the look of wrinkles.

• Ferulic Acid is an anti-oxidant found in the cell walls of plants such as rice and oats and the seeds of apples and oranges, where it plays a key role in the plants’ protection and self-preservation.
• Resveratrol is a natural polyphenol and powerful anti-oxidant. In nature resveratrol is found naturally in small amounts in wine, peanuts, mulberry and knotweed. It has been found to have antioxidant and skin-whitening effects.
• Palmitoyl Tripeptide-3 mimics skin’s collagen production mechanism, combats visible signs of aging.
• Retinol and Retinyl Palmitate aid in cellular renewal and the revitalization of dull skin.
• Jojoba Oil is extracted from the seeds of a bush (Simmondsia chinensis). It penetrates the skin easily and reduces transepidermal water loss by forming a protective film.

Suggested Use:

After cleansing and toning, warm a small amount of Crème between palms and smooth over face and neck. In the evening, apply a pea-sized amount of this retinol crème to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow for absorption before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency as tolerated.
